We as parents have an emotional interest in our child's activities. We want to ensure that the activity is safe and worthwhile. Where conflicts often arise is when we place our own interest in the "winning" over the intended development and enjoyment of the activity by our child. It is our goal that through better education and applying a consistent standard of expected conduct, the SDL will be able to offer your child a rich and rewarding experience.
